Flower-Printed Felted Wool Slippers

Every pair of these slippers is made entirely by hand, from start to finish, by me.

I begin by knitting the slippers from natural wool, then carefully wash and felt them to create a thick, warm, beautifully textured fabric. Once felted, I use flowers and foliage grown in my own garden to create each botanical print through the traditional technique of flower pounding. The flowers are placed directly onto the wool and gently pounded by hand, transferring their natural colours and shapes into the felt.

After the botanical printing is complete, I cut each suede sole individually, hand-punch every hole, and sew the soles securely onto the slippers by hand.

No two pairs are ever exactly alike. Each pair carries the character of the flowers, the wool, and the hands that made them—truly one-of-a-kind slippers created entirely from start to finish in my studio.
